Alexander Jarvis

is an environmental policy and sustainability advocate focused on rainwater harvesting, water resilience, and community-based environmental solutions. He is the Founder and President of the Society for a Secure and Sustainable Water Future (S4SSWF), Alexander is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Environmental Science & Policy at George Mason University, where he is developing sustainability-focused implementation initiatives and applied environmental research projects. His background combines environmental policy, public engagement, branding, media production, and strategic storytelling.

Leslie Jarvis

is an environmental advocate, community organizer, and graduate student in Environmental Studies at Virginia Commonwealth University focused on sustainability, public education, and water resilience initiatives throughout Virginia. She has played a major role in advancing rainwater harvesting awareness, legislative advocacy, and environmental outreach efforts connected to S4SSWF and Go Green Auto Care. Leslie has helped support statewide policy initiatives, public education campaigns, community partnerships, and implementation projects designed to promote sustainable water solutions and long-term environmental resilience. She has also spoken publicly on sustainability and water advocacy efforts, including delivering a TEDx talk focused on environmental resilience and sustainable water solutions.

Tyrone Jarvis

is the owner of Go Green Auto Care and a leading advocate for rainwater harvesting and sustainable water infrastructure in Virginia. He is ARC SA certified and has spent years advancing practical, community-based approaches to water sustainability and resilience. His work developing a rainwater harvesting system at his automotive repair facility helped spark years of environmental advocacy and legislative efforts surrounding rainwater harvesting regulations within the Commonwealth. Tyrone has worked alongside policymakers, environmental advocates, and community organizations to help advance sustainable water practices, implementation projects, and public awareness surrounding water conservation and resilience.

Greg Farley MS, CEM, LEED Green Associate

is a sustainability leader and environmental strategist with extensive experience in higher education sustainability, energy systems, resilience planning, and institutional environmental initiatives. He previously served as Director of University Sustainability at George Mason University and now serves as Director of Strategic Energy Programs at MD Energy Advisors. Greg earned his degree from Duke University and has spent years helping organizations advance practical sustainability and energy solutions. He supports S4SSWF through sustainability strategy, systems thinking, higher education collaboration, and long-term environmental planning.

Dr. Lynn Broaddus, Ph.d., M.B.A.

is a nationally recognized water sustainability strategist and environmental leader with decades of experience advancing resilient and distributed water infrastructure solutions. She is the President of Broadview Collaborative, Inc. and has held leadership roles with organizations including the Water Environment Federation, The Nature Conservancy, River Network, and the Brookings Institution. Dr. Broaddus earned her Ph.D. from Duke University and has spent much of her career helping shape national conversations surrounding water resilience, sustainability, and environmental leadership. She provides strategic guidance to S4SSWF on water sustainability, resilience planning, and long-term environmental leadership.

Ethan Smith, J.D.

is a Virginia-based attorney with experience in legal analysis, governance, and legislative matters. He currently practices law at KPM LAW and has experience across litigation, legal research, and public sector legal work. Ethan earned his undergraduate degree from Virginia Military Institute before obtaining his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law. He provides advisory support to S4SSWF related to governance discussions, legislative awareness, and legal perspective surrounding environmental and organizational initiatives.

Ivan Abreu Luciano

is a leadership consultant, filmmaker, and community engagement professional focused on helping organizations strengthen leadership, communication, and team culture. Through his work with The Better Place and Forty Four Pictures, Ivan combines storytelling, leadership development, and creative strategy to help organizations grow stronger and more connected. He is currently pursuing an MFA in Film and Media Arts at American University, where he continues developing his work surrounding storytelling, leadership, and human-centered communication. Ivan supports S4SSWF through leadership development, organizational culture, public engagement, and communication strategy.
